1963 Penn Yan 16' Runabout. This is a Classic Show Winner. It was restored professionally, has 2 new custom built nine gallon aluminum fuel tanks that are Coast Guard Approved. Packaged with a 1991 Evinrude 50 HP outboard engine and a 1991 Magic Tilt Galvanized trailer. The boat has custom canvas mooring cover and a full canvas cover that extends down to the waterline. New white hull paint as of March 2006. Also includes the Original 1963 Johnson 55hp with controls which has been completely rebuilt and is in excellent shape. Lapstrake 3/8" mahogany single planked painted white. Frames are sawn and steam bent oak. The deck and trim are varnished mahogany. The full width bench seat is varnished mahogany with a white cushion. The rub rail is shiny stainless steel. Deck hardware is chrome. 1957 Penn Yan Captivator Plastron Construction with 1958 Johnson 18 hp motor, Heavy duty trailer included. Hull and decks are all original wood. Decks and seats disassembled and refastened, hull was also refastened. All wood stripped, CPES applied, varnished the natural wood, and factory original colors applied to the topsides and bottom.
